Aleppo countryside | Unidentified gunmen open fire on Turkish military post, injuring Turkish soldier

SOHR activists say that a Turkish sergeant was injured today, after unidentified gunmen opened fire on the Turkish outposts in Batbo village in western Aleppo countryside.

On January 3, SOHR activists reported hearing an explosion near Maarrat Misrin caused by an RPG attack by unknown gunmen on a Turkish military vehicle, while it was passing by the junction of Kafriya village in the north of Idlib city. No casualties were reported. Meanwhile, security services of the factions and Turkish forces have cordoned off the site of the attack.

On December 7, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that a Turkish soldier was injured, as unknown assailants fired a guided missile on the Turkish military base in Ram Hamdan town in northern Idlib. The attack left material damage to the Turkish base.
