Bad weather | Tense calm prevails “de-escalation zone”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a tense calm prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone” since Saturday evening to date, due to continuous heavy rainfall in the region. Meanwhile, the regime forces violated the tense calm firing several shells during the last hours, targeting Al-Fatira and Kansafra in Jabal Zawiya, south of Idlib, but no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, opposition factions of “Al-Fateh Al-Mubin” operations room shelled regime positions in Al-Dar Al-Kaberah village in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, regime forces renewed rocket fire on positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib.

SOHR activists had reported renewed rocket fire by regime forces on positions in Idlib and Hama countryside in the early hours of Saturday morning, as several rockets pounded Al-Faterah, Sfuhen, Fulayfel, Bayanin, Al-Barah in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama.
