Aleppo | Unknown gunmen open fire on Turkish-backed militiaman, while others throw grenade on residential neighbourhood

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Unknown gunmen in a car, “Santa Fe” make, opened fire on a member of the Turkish-backed dicision of “Al-Muntasir Bellah” in the Industrial area in Al-Bab city in Aleppo countryside, injuring him seriously.

 

On the other hand, unknown gunmen in a car threw a grenade in Al-Asayanah neighbourhood in Azaz city in areas under the control of Turkish-backed factions in rural Aleppo, but no casualties have been reported.

 

SOHR activists said earlier this morning that an IED exploded in a car selling bread at a vegetable market in Sajo village in the countryside of Azaz near the Syria-Turkey border, north of Aleppo. The explosion killed one person, injured three others and caused material damage.

 

On January 12, the Syrian Observatory monitored a new explosion in the Turkish-backed areas in Aleppo countryside. A child was injured as an IED planted in a van exploded in the town of Jarabulus in Aleppo countryside.
