North of Raqqa | Regime soldier killed in landmine explosion near “93th Brigade”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the death of a regime soldier, as a result of the explosion of a landmine near the “93th   Brigade” in the area of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa.

Two days ago, Syrian Observatory activists documented the death of two members of the regime-backed “National Defence Forces” (NDF) in the explosion of an old landmine planted earlier by ISIS in Al-Shawla desert in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

On January 8, SOHR activists documented the death of a commander of the Russian-backed Palestinian “Al-Quds Brigade” and the injury of three other members escorting him, as an IED exploded in their car in the area of Kabajib in the western desert of Deir Ezzor province. This explosion coincided with the escalating activities by ISIS cells in the Syrian desert.
