RPG attack | Unknown gunmen open fire on SDF military post in Deir Ezzor countryside, and SDF bring in military reinforcement

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Unknown gunmen fired an rocket-propelled grenade on a military post of Syria Democratic Forces in Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The attack was followed by clashes between the attackers and SDF members. However, no casualties have been reported so far

 

Meanwhile, SDF have brought in military reinforcement to the town, arresting several people.

 

On the hand, SDF opened fire on smugglers, while helping people to travel to regime-controlled areas via rafts, near Al-Shuhayl town, but no casualties have been reported.

 

These developments coincide with the escalating activities by ISIS cells in SDF-controlled areas.

 

Reliable sources reported earlier that a man was found dead with hands shackled as well as marks of torture on his body, in a hut near Al-Hajanah village in Al-Busayrah countryside in eastern Deir Ezzor. No further details were reported about the circumstances of this murder.

 

SOHR sources monitored earlier today an assassination which targeted a member of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish”, after being shot with a silencer pistol by two masked gunmen on a motorcycle in the village of Al-Sabha in east Deir Ezzor countryside.
