New reinforcement | International Coalition brings in over 40 trucks carrying military and logistical supplies to NE Syria

Syrian Observatory activists have reported seeing a new convoy affiliated with the International Coalition crossing into Syria via Al-Waleed crossing on the border with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The convoy comprised 40 trucks, mostly covered, carrying military and logistical supplies, and they later headed to the Coalition’s bases in Al-Hasakah countryside and north-eastern Syria region.

 

It is worth noting that the convoy is the sixth one of its kind since the beginning of 2021.

 

Yesterday, Observatory activists reported seeing a new convoy affiliated with the International Coalition entering Syrian territory from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, via the border crossing of Al-Waleed. The convoy comprised 40 trucks carrying military and logistical supplies as well as oil trucks and headed later headed to the Coalition’s bases in Ramilan, Tal Bayder and other bases in rural Al-Hasakah.

 

On January 16, Observatory activists reported seeing nearly 25 trucks belonging to the International Coalition arriving in its bases in Al-Hasakah province from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, via Al-Walid border crossing. The vehicles later headed to Koniko and Al-Omar oil fields in Deir Ezzor, as the vehicle, which were escorted by armoured vehicles, were carrying logistical supplies and heavy weapons, including cannons.

 

While On January 10, Syrian Observatory reported seeing nearly 25 trucks belonging to the International Coalition arriving in its bases in Al-Hasakah province from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, via Al-Walid border crossing. The vehicles later headed to Koniko and Al-Omar oil fields in Deir Ezzor, as the vehicle, which were escorted with armoured vehicles, were carrying logistical supplies and heavy weapons, including cannons.

 

Similarly, on January 7, Observatory activists monitored the entry of a new convoy of the International Coalition into Syrian territory. Some 50 trucks included oil trucks and loaded with logistical and military supplies entered into Syria via Al-Walid border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and headed towards Coalition bases in al-Hasakah and Deir Ezzor provinces.

 

On January 4, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of a new convoy of the International Coalition into Syrian territory. Over 30 trucks loaded with weapons and logistical and military assistance entered into Syria yesterday evening, via Al-Walid border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and headed towards Coalition bases in al-Hasaka province.
