Members of both YPG and IS killed in clashes in the countryside of al- Raqqa

Al- Raqqa Province:

Suspected US- led coalition warplanes carried out several strikes on the road linking the city of al- Raqqa with the town of Slouk in the north of al- Raqqa killing 2 civilians while others were wounded. They also attacked areas in the south of al- Raqqa.

 

Clashes took place between YPG, backed by rebel factions, and IS militants in the south of Slouk, amid new advancement for YPG and seizing a village at least. The clashes resulted in the death of 3 IS militants at least and 4 YPG fighters.
