To convert into hotel for visitors | “Shiite Waqf” in Deir ez-Zor seizes farms near shrine of “Ain Ali”, south of Al-Mayadeen

Reliable sources in al-Mayadeen area in eastern Deir ez-Zour countryside, have told the Syrian Observatory that the so-called “Shiite Waqf in Deir al-Zour” has seized three farms near the shrine of Ain Ali, about 20 km from the city of Al-Mayadeen in order to turn them into a hotel for the Shiite community’s visitors of “Ain Ali Shrine “.

According to Syrian observatory sources, the seized farms belong to a civilian from the region lives in Kuwait.

It is worth noting that Ain Ali shrine is one of the most prominent Shiite shrines in the eastern region, visited by Shiite visitors from various Syrian provinces and from neighbouring countries.

On December 31, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) started a military and ideological course in Al-Mayadeen city in Deir Ezzor countryside, as applicants can register their names in this course for 40 days. It is worth noting that nearly 100 people from Al-Mayadeen and surrounding towns and villages have joined the course.

According to SOHR sources, the IRGC command will distribute the applicants to headquarters and observation centres in areas under its control.
