“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces and rebels exchange rocket fire in southern Idlib countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored in the early hours of this morning, renewed shelling on places in the “de-escalation zone”. Where regime forces shelled areas in Al-Bara and the perimeter of Kansafra, Al-Fatira, Benin and Fififel in southern countryside of Idlib.

Meanwhile, the opposition factions shelled positions of regime forces in the village of Al-Malaja and other villages and towns south of Idlib. No casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory activists documented the death of a rebel in Jabal Al-Turkman in Latakia countryside due to exchange of fire between regime forces and opposition factions on several frontlines in Latakia countryside.

On the other hand, SOHR sources reported artillery fire by regime forces on Al-Sarmaniyah frontlines and other positions around Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.
