Hours after being kidnapped | Two local female officials of Self-Administration found dead

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a new assassination in the SDF-held areas in north-eastern Syria, where two bodies were found in the town of Al-Dashisha in the southern countryside of Hasaka.

The bodies belong to two women, one is the head of the “Civil Council” in the municipality of Tel Al-Ashayer, south of Hasaka, and the other is the “economic official” in the municipality. The two women were kidnapped by unknown gunmen and they were found dead in Al-Dashisha, hours after being kidnapped.

Since July 2018 to date, the number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and civil servants assassinated in Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah provinces and SDF-controlled Manbij area in northeastern Aleppo province increased to 656 persons.

The Syrian Observatory has documented the assassination of 234 civilians by armed cells, including 17 children and 11 women in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and countryside and Manbij, in addition to the assassination of 418 fighters of SDF, including local leaders in the same areas, while four members of the International Coalition were killed, dozens of wounded were also reported by SOHR as a result of those assassinations.
