“De-escalation zone” | Civilian and two National Front members killed in ground shelling on rural Latakia and western Idlib

The Syrian Observatory has documented the death of a civilian of his wounds sustained in the shelling on his car in the village of Ganiya in Jisr al-Shughour countryside near the administrative border with Hama governorate.

Meanwhile, two members of “National Liberation Front” factions were also killed, as regime forces targeted their position with a guided missile on Al-Tufahiya frontline in Latakia countryside.

Regime forces shelled, in the early hours of Sunday morning, positions in Al-Faterah, Sfuhen, Kansafrah, Fulaifel, the surrounding areas of Bayanin in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the surrounding areas of Qulaydin and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama. No casualties have been reported.

This bombardment comes as a part of routine violations by regime forces to the recent ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone”.
