“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces start new round of rocket attacks on southern Idlib

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored rocket fire by regime forces in the early hours of Monday morning, targeting positions in Sfuhen, Kansafra, Al-Faterah, Bayanin and Fulayfil in the southern countryside of Idlib. Otherwise, tense calm is prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone”.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported bombardment by regime forces on positions in Al-Faterah, Sfuhen, Kansafrah, Fulaifel, the surrounding areas of Bayanin in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the surrounding areas of Qulaydin and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama. No casualties were reported. This bombardment came as a part of routine violations by regime forces to the recent ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone”.
