Security chaos and proliferation of weapons | Civilian killed in tribal clashes in al-Hasakeh

SOHR activists say that a member of the Al-Sharbin clan was killed today, as a result of a clan altercation which evolved into clashes between Al-Bumuslim clan and a family of al-Agawates in the Goyran neighbourhood in al-Hasakeh.

 

Meanwhile, a civilian was also seriously injured as a result of the clashes and was taken to the city’s hospitals, without knowing the reasons.

 

This comes in the light of the security chaos and the proliferation of weapons in SDF-held areas.

 

In mid-December, SOHR sources said that the SDF’s Internal Security Forces found the body of one of its members killed inside his home in Shanina area north of Raqqa, while his wife was severely beaten.

According to sources, gunmen killed the member and beat his wife as a result of a vendetta between two clans in the area.
