Security chaos in SDF-held areas | Unknown gunmen assassinate money changer outside his house in Manbij city, eastern Aleppo

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that a young man has died of injuries he sustained yesterday in the city of Manbij, after being targeted by unknown gunmen in a jeep near his home while he was returning from work. The young man works in a money exchange office in the city of Manbij, eastern Aleppo, without knowing the reasons and motives of the killing.

Since July 2018 to date, the number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and civil servants assassinated in Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah provinces and SDF-controlled Manbij area in northeastern Aleppo province increased to 659 persons.

The Syrian Observatory has documented the assassination of 237 civilians by armed cells, including 17 children and 11 women in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and countryside and Manbij, in addition to the assassination of 418 fighters of SDF, including local leaders in the same areas, while four members of the International Coalition were killed, dozens of wounded were also reported by SOHR as a result of those assassinations.
