“De-escalation zone” | Rebels and regime forces exchange fire on frontlines in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored exchange of fire with heavy and medium machine guns, on frontlines of al-Ruwayha and Kaddora in Jabal al-Zawiya in southern countryside of Idlib, between the factions of al-Fath Al-Mubin operations room on one side, and the forces of the regime and loyal militiamen on the other.

Meanwhile, rebels renewed their rocket attack on positions of the regime forces in Dadikh in eastern Idlib countryside, but no casualties have been reported.

Hours earlier, SOHR activists said that the opposition factions targeted with heavy artillery regime forces’ positions on frontlines of the villages of Al-Malaja and Dadikh in Idlib countryside, resulting in injuries among regime forces.

The frontlines of the “de-escalation zone” has been witnessing a tense calm since yesterday evening.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the killing of a regime soldier, after being sniped by opposition factions on Kadora frontline in Idlib countryside.
