Since early January | Fuel and primitive heating materials claim the lives of three people, including two children, and five others suffer various degrees of burns 

SOHR sources say that a fire broke out in Kansafra camp in Al-Bardaqli area in northern Idlib countryside, as a primitive heater fell on the ground, which led to the burning of several tents and the displacement of its inhabitants. No casualties have been reported.

On 18 January, an elderly man died after a fire broke out at his home in the village of Bassams in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory monitored a fire in Tal al-Karama refugee camp in northern Idlib countryside on January 11, resulting in the death of a child and serious burns to two others, as well as the burning of a number of tents, due to the storage of fuel inside the tent and the use of unsafe means.

On January 10, two children and their mother suffered varying burns, as a result of a fire broke out at their home in Ariha, south of Idlib. The fire caused by primitive heating stoves.

On January 6, a child died of his injuries sustained after a fire broke out in the tent in a makeshift camp near the city of Azaz in northern Aleppo countryside.
