“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces and rebels exchange ground shelling on frontlines, south of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this morning ground shelling by rebels on positions of regime forces in Al-Malaja and other villages in Jabal al-Zawiya. While the regime forces shelled places in Al-Fatira, Kansafra, Safohin, Fleifel, Benin and Ruwayha in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported to date.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported renewed bombardment by regime forces on the “de-escalation zone”, as regime forces fired several rockets in the early hours of Saturday morning, targeting positions in Sfuhen, Al-Faterah, Kansafra, Fulayfil in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Qulaydin in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama. No casualties have been reported.
