Deir Ezzor | Unknown gunmen attack military checkpoint with RPG, and others open fire on civilian official of Autonomous Administration

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on an official in the service bureau in “Deir Ezzor Civil Council” of the Autonomous Administration, who had served as the chief of “Al-Shaab Council” in Al-Busayra city, in the 20th street in Al-Busayra city.

 

The official later was taken to the hospital and his condition is serious, as he was hit with several gunshots at head and thigh.

 

Separately, SOHR activists have reported that unknown gunmen on two motorcycles fired a rocket-propelled grenade on an SDF checkpoint near Ku’ Sa’oud in Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The attack was followed by clashes between SDF members stationed at the checkpoint and the attackers near the “grain mill”, before the attackers escaped. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

Observatory activists documented the death of a member of the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayish”, after being shot by unidentified gunmen, believed to be ISIS cells, in the town of Al-Subha in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
