Combing operations | Turkish forces substantially deploy from Al-Fu’ah to Idlib city

Idlib province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this morning, substantial deployment of Turkish forces from Ma’rat Misrin and Al-Fu’ah, east and north-east of Idlib, to the city of Idlib.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, this substantial deployment was caused by combing operations launched by Turkish forces in the area, including dismantling IEDs and detonating landmines.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored Turkish forces setting up surveillance cameras on Aleppo-Latakia international road “M4”, from the section near the city of Ariha, south of Idlib, to the area of Bdama near the city of Jisr al-Shughour in western Idlib countryside.

Two days ago, SOHR sources reported that unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on the outpost of a Turkish military post in Abu Al-Zubayr area near Muhambel town on Aleppo-Latakia international highway “M4” in western Idlib. The attack left two Turkish soldiers injured.
