Syrian Observatory activists have monitored residents lifting placards with anti-regime slogans written on them in several areas across Daraa province, demanded the release of detainees and adherence to constants of the “Syrian Revolution”.

These protests took place in the following 13 villages and towns: Da’el, Al-Harrak, Bosra Al-Sham, Nahteh, Al-Karak Al-Sharqi, Al-Jizah, Kafr Nasij, Nawa, Al-Lajat, Aib, Inkhil, Maliha, Al-Atash, Sahm Al-Golan and Al-Mata’iyah.

On January 31, Observatory activists in Al-Suwaidaa city monitored young people drawing anti-regime graffiti, expressing their rejection of the incoming presidential election and the Iranian presence in Syria.

According to SOHR sources, activists of Al-Suwaidaa city sought to widen the anti-regime graffiti in most of the city’s neighbourhoods in order to express their dissatisfaction and anger against the deteriorating economic hardship and prevalence of poverty in Syria because of the policy of the Syrian regime’s present and his support to corruption.
