YPG and rebel factions seize nearly the whole city of Tal Abyad, and 40 IS militants died during their attempt to escape from the city

SOHR knew that YPG, backed by some rebel battalions and US- led coalition warplanes, could take control over nearly the whole border city of Tal Abyad, where nothing remain in the city but some small IS groups. In addition to, 40 IS militants died due to targeting them by US- led coalition warplanes when they tried to escape from the city of Tal Abyad towards the town of Ayn Isa in northwest of al- Raqqa, while others could reach to town.
