Joint patrols | Russian and Turkish forces conduct new patrol near Al-Malikiya (Derek) in al-Hasakeh countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a new joint patrol conducted by Russian and Turkish forces in the countryside of the city of Al-Malikiya, setting off from the village of Deir Ghosn, north-east of al-Hasaka.

On February 1, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new joint patrol conducted by Turkish and Russian forces in the countryside of Ain al-Arab city (Kobani). Russian and Turkish vehicles set off from the Ashma border crossing, west of the city, and headed to the villages of Zormaghar, Bindar, Garekli, Qouli, Khorkhoury, Sevetek and Salim, and then returned to Ashma.
