IED attack | Explosion targets house of tribal dignitary in Deir Ezzor countryside.

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources say that an IED exploded near the house of a dignitary of Al-Dleem tribe in Abu Al-Naytal village in Deir Ezzor countryside. The explosion caused material damage only.

 

This attack coincides with the escalating security chaos and ISIS cells prevalence in SDF-held areas.

 

On February 3, SOHR sources documented the death of an SDF fighter, after being shot by unknown gunmen in Al-Hawayij village in eastern Deir Ezzor.
