Northern Aleppo countryside | Turkish and Kurdish forces exchange rocket fire south of Azaz city

Aleppo Province- The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored in the early hours of the morning a rocket attack by Turkish forces on areas held by Kurdish forces, south of Azaz city in northern Aleppo countryside, while Kurdish forces reacted shelling Turkish bases in the area. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, Turkish forces shelled, with heavy artillery, the village of Mar’naz and the northern part of Tel Rifaat city in areas under the control of Kurdish forces in north Aleppo countryside. The Turkish bombardment coincided with clashes with medium and heavy weapons between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on the frontlines of Mar’naz in Azaz countryside, amid reports on injury of several members on both sides.

Two days ago, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions shelled the surrounding areas of Tel Rifaat city and other positions in Sadd Al-Shahbaa, Samouqah, the outskirts of Sha’alah village, Tal Madiq village, Harbal and Sheikh Issa in Kurdish-held areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo. No casualties were reported.
