After attack on Iranian militias’ headquarters in eastern Homs | Regime forces arrest ten people, including women, for “cooperating with ISIS”
Homs Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported seeing members of the military intelligence service being deployed at junctions and roads in the eastern countryside of Homs, along with launching a security campaign by regime forces and loyal militias targeting several houses in Al-Qaryatayn city. During the campaign, two women among over ten people were arrested for various accusations, including the “cooperation with ISIS”. The arrested people were taken to security centres in the city.
This development comes a day after an attack on military headquarters of Iranian-backed militias near the petrol station at the northern entrance of Al-Qaryatayn city, as unknown gunmen but believed to be of ISIS cells opened machinegun fire on the headquarters, killing and injuring several members, including an officer. The casualties were taken by the “5th Corps” to a hospital in the city.
