Aleppo | Clashes renew between Turkish-backed factions and Kurdish forces

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syrian Observatory activists have reported renewed clashes, in the early hours of Monday morning, between Turkish-backed factions and Kurdish forces on Hazawan and Al-Deghlbash frontlines in the western countryside of Al-Bab in eastern Aleppo. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of bombardment, while Turkish forces shelled Kurdish positions in the region. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that Turkish forces fired several shells on the frontline of the SDF-controlled village of Al-Bughaz in the west of Manbij in eastern Aleppo. Meanwhile, Turkish forces stationed at Jab al-Dam base also shelled, with heavy weapons, the village of Kor Hoyuk in the eastern countryside of al-Bab, eastern Aleppo, but no casualties reported.

On February 1, the Observatory activists monitored rocket attacks by Turkish forces and their proxy factions, stationed in al-Sukkaria area in east Aleppo countryside, on Al-Houta village controlled by “Jabhat Al-Akrad Forces” (Kurdish front forces), causing material damage only.
