A day after the death of Abu Younis Al-Almani | IED explosion targets Uzbek jihadist in rural Idlib

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported an IED explosion, this morning, in the car of an Uzbek jihadist in Taltita village in Jabal Al-Sammaq in Idlib countryside. It is worth noting that the explosion injured the jihadist and destroyed his car.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a Turkish jihadist affected by the injuries he sustained in an armed attack by unknown gunmen yesterday, while he was leaving a mosque in the northern alley in Jisr Al-Shughour city. It is worth noting that the jihadist was taken to a medical centre just after the attack, but he died in the following day because of the series wounds.

A day earlier, SOHR sources reported that a Turkish jihadist sustained serious injuries after being shot by unknown gunmen, as he was leaving a mosque in the northern alley in Jisr Al-Shughour city.

It is worth noting that the same jihadist was subjected to an assassination attempt five days earlier, when SOHR sources reported, on February 2, an IED explosion in a vehicle in the northern neighbourhood of Jisr Al-Shughour city in the western countryside of Idlib, which caused material damage only.
