For giving lessons from regime’s curricula | 12 teachers still detained by “Asayish”, and their students demonstrate demanding their release

Al-Hasakah governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” arrested, over the last two days, eight teachers from the town of Karki Laki, located in the area of al-Rmilan in al-Qamishli countryside, for giving lessons from the regime’s curricula.

Meanwhile, four teachers from the city of Amuda are still detained by “Asayish” for the third day in row, for the same reason. According the Syrian Observatory sources, a number of students from the town of Karki Laki demonstrated demanding the release of their teachers.

On February 7, reliable sources informed SOHR that patrols of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) arrested four teachers in Amouda city in Al-Hasakah countryside. According to SOHR sources, the four teachers were arrested for “giving students private courses in their homes, where they teach lessons of the Syrian regime curricula”.
