“De-escalation zone” | Clashes erupt between rebels and regime forces in western Aleppo, and regime forces renew rocket attack on Jabal Al-Zawiya

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored last night fierce clashes on frontlines in western countryside of Aleppo, between regime forces and loyalists on the one hand, and opposition factions on the other, accompanied by exchange of fire between the two sides. No casualties have been reported so far.

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled, in the early hours of the morning, areas in Kansafra, Al-Fatira, Fleifel, Benin and the outskirts of al-Baraa and al-Fatira in southern idlib countryside.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a woman affected by the injury she had last night in regime rocket attacks on positions in Al-Bara town in the southern countryside of Idlib. On the other hand, regime forces shelled, in the early hours of Wednesday morning, positions in Al-Fterah, Sfuhen, Kansafra, Fulayfel, Al-Ruwayha and Bayanin in southern Idlib and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama.
