Repression | Regime authorities disapprove anti-government protests in several Syrian cities

Syrian regime has rejected a request by a party classified under the “internal opposition” to stage protests against the dire economic situation in Syria.

The party submitted a request to the regime government in late January to start protests in front of the building of the Syrian regime’s Cabinet tomorrow.

The “Youth Party for Development and Alteration” had announced about protests against the government and corruption to be staged in front of the building of the Syrian regime’s Cabinet in Damascus, Saadallah al-Jabiri Square in Aleppo, in front of the governorate building in Tartus, near Al-Zera’a round about in Latakia, and in Al-Qamishli in Al-Hasakah countryside.

It is worth noting that the Syrian regime faced all popular protests in Syria nearly ten years ago with killing, arrests and enforced disappearances in prisons.
