East of Deir ez-Zor | Gunmen target car while providing food to SDF checkpoints in Al-Busayrah

Deir ez-Zor province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that unidentified gunmen targeted, in the early hours of the morning, with machine guns a car tasked with distributing bread and food to the military posts of the Syrian Democratic Forces deployed in the city of Al-Busayrah in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, causing only material damage.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the bodies of two young men were found on the edge of the Euphrates River, in the village of Jadida Bakara in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour. According to Syrian Observatory sources, the two young men were killed by a gunfire, and the identity of the perpetrators is not yet known to date.

Since July 2018 to date, the number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and civil servants assassinated in Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah provinces and SDF-controlled Manbij area in north-eastern Aleppo province increased to 689 persons.

The Syrian Observatory has documented the assassination of 244 civilians by armed cells, including 17 children and 12 women in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and countryside and Manbij, in addition to the assassination of 438 fighters of SDF, including local leaders in the same areas, while four members of the International Coalition were killed, dozens of wounded were also reported by SOHR as a result of these assassinations.
