For “involvement in explosions” in Ras Al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye) | Turkish-backed military police arrest three civilians

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish-backed military police have arrested three civilians for “involvement in the recent explosions” in “Peace Spring” areas in Al-Hasakah countryside.

According to SOHR sources, the military police launched a security campaign in the past 24 hours.

It is worth noting that the arrested civilians are from Ras Al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye), Ghuwayran neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah city and Al-Tabaqah city in Al-Raqqah countryside.

On February 13, reliable sources informed SOHR that the medical staff in the “National Hospital”, including doctors, nurses and workers, in Ras Al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye) in Al-Hasakah countryside started a general strike, denouncing and expressing rejection of the repeated violations by Turkish-backed factions against them.

While on February 11, SOHR sources reported that members of the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamza Division” burned down five civilian houses in Al-Qasimiyah village in west Tel Tamr countryside, after looting their contents. Al-Qasimiyah village is empty of population as the residents had fled from the village during the attack by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on the region. The village also hosts a large Turkish military base. This development coincided with ongoing violations against the residents and their properties and the Turkish-backed factions’ escalating dominance.
