“Bashar, we don’t want you” | Locals in Jabal Al-Arab draw anti-regime graffiti on al-Sweida’s walls

Syrian Observatory activists say that anti-regime graffiti left by people in the city of Sweida yesterday evening on the wall of the city, some of which reads: “Revolution until the last drop of blood – Bashar, we don’t want you, freedom forever, the spirit of the revolution in the country’s people heart.”

On February 5, Syrian Observatory activists monitored residents lifting placards with anti-regime slogans written on them in Um Walad, Daraa Al-Balad, Al-Harrak, Al-Hara, Al-Jiza, Bosra Al-Sham, Mulayh Al-Atash, Kafr Nasij, Al-Karak Al-Sharqi, Bosr Al-Harir, Da’el, Inkhil, Sahem Al-Golan, Aib, Al-Lajjat and other areas throughout Daraa province. The anti-regime slogans demanded the release of detainees and toppling of the regime.

This development coinciding the growing popular uprising in south Syria region against the Syrian regime’s president, Bashar Al-Assad.

On February 2, SOHR activists monitored residents lifting placards with anti-regime slogans written on them in several areas across Daraa province, demanded the release of detainees and adherence to constants of the “Syrian Revolution”.

These protests took place in the following 13 villages and towns: Da’el, Al-Harrak, Bosra Al-Sham, Nahteh, Al-Karak Al-Sharqi, Al-Jizah, Kafr Nasij, Nawa, Al-Lajat, Aib, Inkhil, Maliha, Al-Atash, Sahm Al-Golan and Al-Mata’iyah.

While on January 31, Observatory activists in Al-Suwaidaa city monitored young people drawing anti-regime graffiti, expressing their rejection of the incoming presidential election and the Iranian presence in Syria.
