Family fight | One person killed and others injured in clashes in NDF-controlled areas in eastern Al-Qamishli

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that an armed fight erupted between two families in Hamu and Al-Qusayr villages, which are under the control of the “National Defence Dorces” (NDF), in the eastern countryside of Al-Qamishli. The clashes left one person of the two fighting families dead, while eight others sustained various injuries and were taken to Al-Salam Hospital in Al-Qamishly city.

On February 6, SOHR sources said that five people sustained various injuries in a fight between two families in Tal Azan village of Tel Barrak district in SDF-held areas in Al-Hasakah countryside. The fight flared up after a disagreement between two families of Al-Ali tribe, “Fakhd Al-Swayfat” and “Fakhd Al-Menaykhat”, while tribal dignitaries and elders interfered to defuse the tension in the village.

On January 25, SOHR activists documented the death of a civilian from Al-Sharabeen tribe, after a disagreement between Al-Bomesalam tribe and Al-Aghawat family for unknown reason, which evolved later to armed fight in Ghuwayran neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah.

Another civilian sustained serious injury due to this fight and he was taken later to hospital.
