Deir ez-Zor | Locals find body of woman in abandoned place, and unknown assailants detonate former SDF headquarters in countryside

Deir ez-Zor province- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that residents found the body of a woman in an abandoned restaurant in al-Sabha village in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. The victim’s neck was slit with a sharp object which led to her death.

It is worth noting that the woman was displaced from Al-Mayadeen city and lived in the village of Jadid Bakkara.

Meanwhile, unknown assailants detonated IEDs inside the clinic building in al-Shuhayl town in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, destroying it.

It is worth noting that the building was used as a military headquarters by SDF, before being evacuated this morning.

Since July 2018 to date, the number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and civil servants assassinated in Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah provinces and SDF-controlled Manbij area in north-eastern Aleppo province increased to 695 persons.

The Syrian Observatory has documented the assassination of 247 civilians by armed cells, including 18 children and 13 women in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and countryside and Manbij, in addition to the assassination of 441 fighters of SDF, including local leaders in the same areas, while four members of the International Coalition were killed, dozens of wounded were also reported by SOHR as a result of these assassinations.
