Deir ez-Zor countryside | SDF removes tables of street vendors in Al-Busayrah city market, and storms a shop

Deir ez-Zor Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored SDF members deploying in Al-Busayrah city in Deir ez-Zor countryside, where the members closed the city’s markets, removed the tables of street vendors, broke them and transported them to landfills.

Separately, SDF members raided a shop in al-Raz village in Deir al-Zour countryside in northern countryside of Deir al-Zor in order to arrest a former member of the Islamic State, where SDF members opened fire on him while trying to escape, injuring him.

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that an SDF patrol has arrested a boy under the age of eighteen in Al-Shuhayl town for unknown reasons. According to SOHR sources, the father of the arrested boy had served in the “real estate department” of the Islamic State during its control of the area, and he was shot dead by the International Coalition forces on May 22, 2020, in an airdrop by the Coalition targeted his house.
