Security campaign | SDF arrest a family of 12 people in Al-Raqqah for unknown reasons

Reliable sources in SDF-held areas in Al-Raqqah have told SOHR that SDF intelligence arrested, this dawn, 12 people of a family called Al-Taran of Al-Waldah tribe, including a woman and a doctor. According to SOHR sources, two persons of the family were arrested in Al-Raqqah city, while the others were arrested in their village in Al-Tabaqh countryside in western Al-Raqqah for unknown reasons.

 

It is worth noting that one of the arrested people is a former official in the Red Crescent and now works as an adviser for the US-backed “We’am” program sporting local organizations.

 

Yesterday, reliable sources informed SOHR that an SDF patrol arrested a boy under the age of eighteen in Al-Shuhayl town for unknown reasons. According to SOHR sources, the father of the arrested boy had served in the “real estate department” of the Islamic State during its control of the area, and he was shot dead by the International Coalition forces on May 22, 2020, in an airdrop by the Coalition targeted his house.
