Aleppo countryside | Booby-trapped electrical device explodes, killing three people of the same family

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that a displaced person from Tel Rifa’at city was killed and his wife and son were seriously injured, as a booby-trapped electrical device exploded at their home in Azaz city in Aleppo countryside, while plugging in the device.

An increasing number of people killed recently by a landmine, unexploded bombs, and collapse of war-damaged residential buildings in various Syrian areas and cities such as Homs, Hama Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, and southern Syria.

The Syrian Observatory has documented since January 2019 to date some 437 fatalities, including 71 women and 144 children. Of the total number, the Syrian Observatory documented the deaths of 47 people, including 30 women and five children, in their search and collect for “Syrian wild truffles”, which put their lives at risk, “Syrian wild truffles” grow in areas that are exposed to heavy rains and are sold at high prices.
