Under test | Turkish power companies provide Harem power station with electricity

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have told SOHR that Turkish power companies have provided the power station in Harem area on the border with the Iskenderun Region in the western countryside of Idlib with electricity. This development comes with the aim to test the capability of the power station which have been rehabilitated after signing contracts between the Salvation Government’s power company on one hand, and some private Turkish power companies on the other, according to SOHR sources. According to this deal, Harem power station will be prepared after being repaired, then it will be provided with electricity coming from Turkey. It is expected that the preliminary phase will cover Harem area, while the rest areas under the control of HTS and opposition factions in Idlib province are supposed to be provided with electricity in following phases.
