Eastern Aleppo countryside | Displaced person from Palmyra shot dead by unknown assailants in Al-Bab area

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the killing of a young man from the city of Palmyra, who was displaced to al-Bab area in eastern Aleppo countryside, by two gunmen who attacked a farm where the victim used to work on Abu Al-Zandin road in al-Bab countryside, which is under the control of Ankara-backed factions.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported clashes with machine guns between two families in “Al-Jabal camp” in Jarabulus city in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo. The clashes left one person dead and four others injured. According to SOHR sources, units of the Turkish-backed civil police interfered to defuse the conflict between the two families. However, the reasons behind this fight remained unknown.

On February 18, SOHR sources monitored fierce clashes in the city of Al-Bab, which is under the control of Turkish forces and factions of “Euphrates Shield” operation east of Aleppo, between gunmen of one of the city’s families and the civilian police, following the arrest of a member of the family by the civilian police.

According to Observatory sources, the clashes resulted in the death of a member of the family and injuries on both sides.
