Regime attack | Forces target 12 areas in Idlib and Hama countryside with more than 200 rocket-propelled grenades, killing civilian and cutting internet service in many areas

SOHR sources say that regime forces have continued their intensive rocket attacks since this morning on places in the “de-escalation zone”, targeting, with more than 200 rocket-propelled grenades, areas in Deir Sunboul, Al-Fatira, Safohn, Benin, Ruwaiha, Al-Baraa, Kansafra, Flifel, Shenan and Bzapour, al-Ziyara and Qulaydin in Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama, killing a teacher and injuring others in Bzapour.

The Internet service also stopped in large areas in Jabal al-Zawiya and other areas in northern rural Idlib, after regime forces targeted the main tower supplying the internet in Bzapour directly. Mwanwhile, rebels and jihadist factions shelled positions of regime forces in southern countryside of Idlib and north-west rural Hama.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this afternoon, Russian jets executing airstrikes on Idlib province, targeting around the town of Al-Bara in the southern countryside of Idlib, amid ongoing flight by Russian jets over the area.

It is worth noting that this is the fourth round of Russian airstrikes on Idlib in 2021.

On February 13, SOHR activists said that a Russian executed airstrikes using high-explosive missiles, targeting the perimeter of Idlib central prison, west of Idlib city. Meanwhile, a drone was seen flying over the area, but no casualties were reported so far.
