The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the entry of a military convoy of American forces via Al-Walid border crossing with the Kurdistan region of Iraq into the NE regions of Syria.

The convoy consisted of 45 vehicles, fuel tanks and closed trucks loaded with logistical and military materials, and headed to the city of al-Qamishli to its military bases in the area.

It is worth noting that this is the 14th convoy of the International Coalition and U.S. forces to enter Syrian territory in 2021.

On February 18, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of a new International Coalition convoy to Syrian territory from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, where some 60 trucks carrying armoured vehicles, weapons, military and logistical equipment entered via the Al-Walid border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The convoy headed towards al-Qamishli area.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the trucks are carrying dozens of U.S. armored vehicles for the first time since Biden took office, coming after the U.S. side declared its support for SDF in his fight against the Islamic State.

On February 14, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new convoy of the International Coalition entering Ain Dewar. Where about 50 trucks carrying armoured vehicles, weapons, military and logistical equipment entered via Al-Walid border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
