Ceasefire violations | Regime forces renew shelling positions in southern Idlib, while Russian reconnaissance drones fly over Jabal Al-Zawiyah

Syrian Observatory sources have reported exchange of fire with heavy machineguns and shells between regime forces and opposition factions on the frontlines of Al-Amaqiyah in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama.

 

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled positions in Al-Bara, Sfuhen, Al-Faterah, Fulayfel, the outskirts of Al-Bara and Bayanin in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported.

 

SOHR activists also monitored frequent flights by Russian reconnaissance drones over the region.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that regime forces targeted positions in the “de-escalation zone”, between morning and afternoon, with more than 200 rockets, targeting areas in Deir Sunboul, Al-Fatira, Sfuhen, Benin, Ruwayha, the outskirts of Al-Bara, Kansafra, Flifel, Shenan, Bzapour in southern Idlib, al-Ziyara and Qulaydin in Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama. Regime rocket attacks resulted in the death of a teacher and injury of others in Bzapour.

 

The Internet service also interrupted in a large number of areas in Jabal al-Zawiyah and other areas in northern countryside of Idlib, after regime forces directly targeted the main tower supplying the internet in Bzapour. Meanwhile, rebel and jihadist factions shelled positions of regime forces in the southern countryside of Idlib and north-west Hama countryside.
