Hours after he went missing | Body of civilian found in trunk of his car in Al-Sweida

Al-Sweida governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that the body of a civilian was found in the trunk of his car with gunshot wounds, after he went missing last night.

Al-Sweida governorate is experiencing popular discontent, as a result of increased security chaos and the daily security incidents.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a man affected by the injury he had in clashes between local factions and drug dealers, which brings the death toll to two people. Also, eight other people sustained various injuries.

On February 25, SOHR activists reported that a member of the local factions in Al-Suwaidaa died affected by his injuries sustained in the clashes with the owners of “caravans” working in the promotion of narcotic substances.

SOHR sources had said that local factions in Al-Sweida province raided the shops selling caravans near the municipal stadium and al-Bassel roundabout in the city of al-Sweida in order to arrest gangs who are accused of promoting drugs and hashish.
