Assassination attempt | Unknown gunmen attack young man accused of “involving in looting in the name of ISIS”

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on a young man in front of his house in Al-Zar village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which injured him. according to local sources, the young man is accused of “involving in looting and thefts after pretending to be an ISIS member”.

 

It is worth noting that SDF-held areas in Deir Ezzor countryside experience escalating activity by ISIS cells that attack SDF and the region’s residents.

 

On February 25, Reliable sources informed SOHR that two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle shot dead an old man in Al-Sabha town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. According to SOHR sources, the victim was accused of “communicating with regime security services”.
