Security chaos in “Peace Spring” areas | Civil police find unidentified body in abandoned building in Ras Al-Ain

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that the civil police found an unidentified body buried in an abandoned building, near Al-Jawzah roundabout in in Ras Al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye) in “Peace Spring” areas in Al-Hasakah countryside.

 

On February 25, SOHR activists have documented the death of four people, including a woman and a child, and the injury of eight others, some seriously, due to the explosion which targeted an outdoors market in Ras Al-Ain city in Al-Hasakah countryside.

 

While on February 3, SOHR sources reported an IED explosion near Al-Bareed roundabout in the city of Ras al-Ain (Sere Kaniye) within the areas held by Turkish forces and proxy factions in Al-Hasakah countryside. The explosion, which resulted in the injury of one person, followed immediately by another explosion of an IED in the same area, but no human losses were reported.
