Security chaos in SDF-held | Motorcycle-bomb explodes in Al-Hasakah and IED explosion rocks Manbij

SOHR activists have documented the injury of several members of the SDF-backed “Manbij Military Council” due to an IED explosion in their military vehicle near Al-Fath petrol station, near Al-Saba’ Baharat roundabout in western Manbij in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

On the other hand, a motorcycle parked by the road of Al-Siyasi of Al-Ya’rabiyyah town in Al-Hasakah countryside exploded as a military vehicle of the “Self-Defence Forces” was passing. The explosion caused material damage only.

 

On February 28, SOHR sources reported that two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on a young man in front of his house in Al-Zar village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which injured him. According to local sources, the young man was accused of “involving in looting and thefts after pretending to be an ISIS member”.

 

It is worth noting that SDF-held areas in Deir Ezzor countryside experienced escalating activity by ISIS cells that attacked SDF and the region’s residents.

 

While on February 25, Reliable sources informed SOHR that two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle shot dead an old man in Al-Sabha town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. According to SOHR sources, the victim was accused of “communicating with regime security services”.
