Aleppo Governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the death of a child and the injury of her sister, as a result of an explosion of an unexploded projectile left over from the war, in the village of Brad in Janderas area, which is under the control of Turkish forces and proxy factions, in the north-western Aleppo countryside.

An increasing number of people killed recently by a landmine, unexploded bombs, and collapse of war-damaged residential buildings in various Syrian areas and cities such as Homs, Hama Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, and southern Syria.

The Syrian Observatory has documented since January 2019 to date some 451 fatalities, including 72 women and 146 children. Of the total number, the Syrian Observatory documented the deaths of 99 people, including 45 women and six children, in their search and collect for “Syrian wild truffles”, which put their lives at risk, “Syrian wild truffles” grow in areas that are exposed to heavy rains and are sold at high prices.
