Routine patrols | U.S. forces conduct new patrol in al-Malikia countryside “Derek” at the Syrian-Turkish border

The Syrian Observatory has monitored U.S. forces conducting a routine military patrol near the area of oil wells in southern countryside of Al-Malikia “Derek” at the Syrian-Turkish border.

On March 2, the Syrian Observatory monitored a routine patrol of U.S. forces heading to the village of Ain Dewar, located at the Syrian-Turkish border in the Al-Malikiya countryside “Derek”. According to Syrian Observatory sources, the patrol members met with a number of residents to talk about the situation in the area, before continuing their tour in the border area.
