The largest fires ever caused by attacks on oil refineries | Over 180 oil trucks burned down and nearly 30 people killed and wounded, while fire brigades still extinguishing blazes

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Rescue teams and fire brigades have been still extinguishing blazes which broke out yesterday evening in Al-Hamaran area in Jarabulus and Tarhin area in Al-Bab countryside, north-eastern Aleppo, after attacks with surface-to-surface missiles fired by Russian warships and regime forces stationed in military barracks in Aleppo on an oil market and oil refineries in Tarhin and Al-Hamaran in areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

The attacks, which have left four people dead and 24 others injured, also caused substantial material damage, as over 180 oil trucks have been burned down.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of four people, while 24 others sustained various injuries and burns due to attacks, with surface-to-surface missiles fired by Russian warships and regime military barracks, on an oil market and oil refineries in Tarhin and Al-Hamaran in areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

A few hours earlier, SOHR activists documented the death of an identified man and injury of nearly ten others due to rocket attacks with surface-to-surface missiles fired by Russian warships on Al-Hamaran area in Jarabulus countryside.

 

On the other hand, several rockets, believed to be fired from regime military barracks in Aleppo, hit refineries in Tarhin in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, which resulted in the outbreak of large fires in the area.
